Home for the holidays

We weren’t able to make it home for Thanksgiving or Christmas this past year, but we did manage a quick trip to see the family this past weekend…which happened to be Valentine’s Day/President’s Day…which totally count as holidays.

Tera, Micah and I drove to Spokane Sunday morning – stopped by my grandma’s for a quick lunch and then the four of us drove to Deer Park to visit the rest of the family.  Got to see my nephew, Brogan, who’s 18 months old now.  He’s very cute.  And got to see the entire family, which doesn’t happen all that much anymore.  My mom made a great dinner and amazing dessert and we got to hear about the new happenings with everyone.

Stayed the night at our grandma’s house and took off back to Seattle the next day.  It was such a quick trip but the three of us had to work on Tuesday.

While we were in Deer Park, it actually started snowing.  I would like to think we have moved past that part of “winter.”  On to sunny, warm(er) spring days please!
