The key to prime parking at Sea-Tac airport

I often find myself driving around and around and around, trying to find an open parking stall whenever I have to go to the airport.  It’s something that you need to account for time-wise in your pre-travel schedule.  I’m not even asking for a convenient stall…just a stall!  Sometimes you get lucky and you pounce on the open spot before some other person sneaks in front of you.

I recently realized, there’s a simple solution to this parking madness.  All you need for prime parking is…

Yep, a hybrid car (or if you are one of the lucky few, a fully electric car).

There are parking spots, located near the elevators on the 5th floor that are recharge stations.  They are meant only for these types of cars.  It was a complete surprise to me (especially as I drove up thinking they were open spots I could use).

Electric car charging only.  Sorry 97’ Honda Accord…keep movin’ on.
